Dr. Malcolm is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, from the UK, with over 32 years of experience and knowledge. He is also the Medical Director at the Dubai London Hospital.
Having lived and trained in London, UK, he qualified from the world eminent Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital with his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST-London) in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of London (FRCS-Orthopaedics & Trauma) and progressed to a substantive Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. He spent 3 years in a managerial role as Lead Clinician in Orthopaedics, alongside his clinical work.
He moved to Al Ain in 2018 where he worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, before relocating to Dubai where he was appointed to the Dubai London Hospital.
With his vast experience in the entire field of Orthopaedics, his main focus is in the lower limb, especially hip and knee replacement and knee arthroscopy. He also operates on the upper limb, hand and foot (see ‘Expertise’ section).
He is very keen to involve his patients, listen to their concerns, giving them all the available choices and knowledge they need to make an informed decision on their treatment. He employs all possible conservative techniques and necessary investigations before discussing surgical options.
